Digvijay Pratishthan is actively involved in making your experience eventful while you are in Pune. We provide basic horse riding, jumping, tent pegging lessons to new as well as expert riders. Our year round facility at Ambegaon, Katraj is well euqiped with 18 horses and expert trainers. Digvijayans conduct horse riding expeditions and participate in competitions. We also provide recreational riding at different outdoor locations around pune.

Pune is located 560m (1,837 ft) above sea level on the western margin of the Deccan plateau. It is situated on the leeward side of the Sahyadri mountain range (the Western Ghats), which separate it from the Arabian sea. It is a relatively hilly city, with its tallest hill rising to 800m (2,625 ft) above sea level. Pune has a tropical wet and dry climate with average temperatures ranging between 20°C to 28°C.

 

Lonavala Fort Rajmachi

Lonavala and the adjacent Khandala are twin hill stations, 622 m. above sea level, in the Sahyadri ranges that demarcate the Deccan Plateau and the Konkan coast. The hill stations have unspoiled natural beauty along with waterfalls in rainy season, sprawling over an approximate area of 38 km² and are popular holiday destinations during the monsoons. People prefer visiting Lonavla and Khandala in the rainy season.. A trip to Lonavla and Khandala can be combined with sight-seeing visits of Karla, Bhaja and Bedsa caves and also the two fortresses, Lohagad and Visapur.

Mulshi

Mulshi is to the west of Pune and close to Lonavala as well as Konkan region.   You can explore the place as you have always waned. Mulshi dam and the surroundings are full of natural beauties that include a dam, hilly region of Sahyadri's deep forests and forts like Dhangad and Koraigadh. Water of Mulshi is used for generating electricity. It is one of the major electricity projects in Maharashtra.

The beauty of Mulshi Lake can be observed from 'Valanewadi' - 6 Kms. from Mulshi.. Sahyadri is famous for its deadly hills and its beauty. Both the things can be observed here. Some of these hills are almost 4000 feet high. There is one platue here popularly known as 'Lavmal'.

 

Mulshi is very near to Pune and a short trip here can be arranged. One must enjoy the marvelous lake, the dam, forest and hilly region of Mulshi. If you are lucky then you can enjoy boating here as well.

Must see places here are small picnic spots by the side of the waters of the lake, which in good weather are extremely pleasant. Driving further one reaches 'Tamhini' Ghat which is a local landmark and faces a steep cliff on one side and a really deep valley on the other.
